![]() Especially in games with no teams Relics become important in the late game, as they are usually the only way left to get gold at all. ![]() Each Monastery can hold 10 Relics, constantly producing gold with each one garrisoned. Monasteries also have economic relevance. Some technologies in the Monastery also help against enemy Monks or are supportive for troops ( Faith, Heresy, and Herbal Medicine) so it is advisable to also have a Monastery even if the player does not make use of Monks. If not going for monk rush, it is rare to build more than 1 Monastery. Also, technologies must be researched at the same time, first of all Sanctity and Fervor. If the player is intending to use their Monks for offensive purposes like a Mush (Monk rush) they must have at least three (preferably four) Monasteries since the production of Monks is slow and the unit itself has slow movement. ![]() I sell off everything I get from GE now, and have almost 2 million coins on my main city, but I've also been able to get that last upgrade kit for an event building I anted to build, and dropping 350k coins to win the bid didn't phase me because of it.so of course up to you how far you want to take it, and what you want to get out of it.Monasteries serve as a Monk production and upgrade building. But when you do try for that last upgrade kit on the AD aution.say the Ferris Wheel, and you see people betting 100k coins or higher, this is the best way to make sure you stockpile coins to get that last upgrade kit you might need down the road. ![]() On one city this week with GE I ended up with 5 gold relics, 3 of which granted 100 fps.I got 4 jade, 3 TF upgrades, and other shit. For some, it's considered a bad gb, or not worth leveling up because you will end up selling a lot of stuff in the AD, but you're running GE every week anyway, and if you level the TOR thru the sweet spot, which isn't that hard, then you have a higher chance of getting more gold relics when you do run it, which offer 100 fps. ![]()
